They really have some great talks (specially if you seek for "entire talk", check it out). And it so happens that they are all focused on tech startups, so Im happy to deepen my addiction as a tech startup is what I´m getting into.
Anyway I´m all extra inspired because I just saw a really great talk. For the moment as I´m quite obsessed with it, I tend to be quite uncritical about entrepreneurship talks even though I can admit that most often they are also mixed up with lots of fluff and bull. Also they tend to follow kind of scattered patterns which is less good as I like structure, connecting bits and pieces and building systems.
This guy Eric Ries in his talk "Evangelizing for the Lean Startup" starts with the pretentious claim "that entrepreneurship is really an own management science" and with correct tools the failure rate wouldn´t have to be as high, specially in the super high failure rate IT entrepreneurship field. And actually he pulls his it off! He delivers a clear cut, very concrete framework for optimizing success rate. Nothing really revolutionizing but the way he lays it out, the structure and the eloquence really adds extra spice and another dimension to the understanding. At least he gets my thumbs up.
Check out the talk. And I´ll check out his blog some day soon, I´m sure there can be some goodies there aswell.
