On "Jantelagen", the swedish anti-peacocking social norm

Clarification: Jantelagen is a Swedish fenomenon that probably springs from swedes deeply rooted socialist mentality and basically refers to the common negative attitude towards excelling. People aren´t supposed to excel over others, everybody is supposed to be equal. It goes both ways, people control themselves not to show off too much and social norms punish too much peacocking.
